AnhydrousAnhydrous Aluminium Chloride is a versatile chemical catalyst that is primarily used in Friedel-Crafts reactions. It is used in the production of textile dyestuff, auxiliaries and organic synthesis. Anhydrous Aluminum Chloride is used as a catalyst in cracking petrochemicals, processing of pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals and polymers.
HydrousAluminum Chloride Hydrous grades are moderate to highly concentrated liquid solutions of Aluminum Chloride, for applications requiring solubilized materials. Prepared dissolved homogeneous solutions are generally manufactured as per customer specified concentrations.
HexahydrateAluminium Chloride Hexahydrate grade is used in textile finishing. Also in preserving wood; refining crude oil; dyeing fabrics; manufacture of paper; in the preparation of deodorant and antiperspirant. Sold as crystalline powder or as a 28% solution in water.
Poly GradesTreatment and purification of water is a major end-use application for poly aluminium chloride (PAC). Preferred in some cases because of its high charge, which makes it more effective at destabilizing and removing suspended materials. Available in powder and liquid form. Widely used in the treatment of drinking water, industrial waste water, urban waste water and in the paper industry.
